Haunting Adeline - HIGH Spice

Image
Grab a sweat rag and a buckle up. We have a lot to dish out here.  I do want to preface with a few warnings here. I want to respect trauma readers may have so here a a few subjects this book deals with:  -non-consensual sexual acts  -rape -sex trafficking -child sex trafficking -child sexual abuse  -gun play -sexual aggression  -grooming With that out there, let's get started dishing out this gem of a book. This book was a bit much, even for me which is saying a lot. But it was none the less an intresting and exposing read. This recap is going to be a little unusual as everything I have to say isn't positive. I feel that Z was a little too obsessed and had no ounce of self control. Though, I am not complaining about that when it comes to the bedroom scenes. Z does some really good work in this book, but I love a man who practices a little more restraint and gentleman like manners, but that is just my smutty preference. Controversially to that, I feel that...

The Wolf Hotel Series: Medium Spice

Image
MMM...MMMM..mmmmm. Can we just thank K.A. Tucker for this delicious series. And let's just thank Mr.Wolf himself for his oh so sexy self. This is a great series if you have just graduated from low spice books and are looking for something more naughty and frisky.  A small blurb:  A small town, Christian, good girl lands a job as a landscaper at a large hotel chain that is far from home. Little does she know just how much this business will corrupt her. Sweet, dirty, naughty corruption. When she finds out she has been transferred to another department upon arrival, she is furious. But little does she know how much this will change her life. A hot skip and a jump down the road later she finds herself presented the opportunity to be the secretary for Mr.Wolf. With this... I will leave the rest to your imagination.  Now, similar to Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas, this is a slow burn for a while, but the burn is worth while. The burn is still spicy, but it doesn't fe...

Birthday Girl: Low Spice

Image
Let's talk about Birthday Girl by Penelope Douglas. If you are just graduating from Twilight and Colleen Hoover, this is a fantastic choice. This work of art introduces age gap and a twist on "daddy" kinks.  A small blurb:  A typical small town. One where people typically live all their lives and never leave. Never grow. Never prosper. A girl full of making better for herself. A crappy boyfriend who is lazy and does not deserve the girl. She meets a man.... a much older man. Their romance is a slow burn. Painfully slow. Thanks to a series of events, every day the passion for each other comes more and more irresistible. But will they cross that line? Does she have the heart to leave her boyfriend for a life that she never could have imagined? SPOILER:  Can we talk about the slow burning and painful romance between them? Each time they lock eyes or are in each others proximity, you can just feel the need for the two to hop into the sheets together. While this book is...
